Grow with our family as a Technical Support Trainer at our Furniture Mart USA Corporate Office in Sioux Falls, SD! Make a difference within our organization by supporting, demonstrating, and training our internal users on the daily operation of our highly customized furniture retail applications. This exciting opportunity allows you to utilize your superior communication skills and see the results of your efforts quickly! 

 

  • Full-Time: Monday-Friday (Approximately 25% travel required)
  • Train all current and new users on Storis applications and any new applications to the organization (this includes group/individual presentations and video conferencing)
  • Create, organize, and distribute training materials including videos, manuals, and other educational information
  • Maintain a registry of “Tips and Traps” (Do’s and Don’ts) regarding the applications
  • Monitor and revise training as needed to adapt to any application updates being made
  • Act as the primary contact for all application system problems; analyze and document problems, recommend solutions, initiate corrective actions, follow up on problem resolution and inform management of status
  • Manage the Storis applications and act as the liaison between users and Storis task management and support for Storis systems and related projects (IVR, 3rd Party Financing, Data Warehouse, etc.)
  • Serve as the information resource for users; including determination of the most appropriate data source, providing or arranging application-based report writing via Report Builder
  • Coordinate application enhancements to existing computer systems; including analysis, design specifications and liaison between IT and users usually at the department level
  • Maintain records, logs and reports of assistance via the Help Call system
  • Support the organizational initiative of process re-engineering by involving user departments in process flow analysis and work-re-design, with emphasis on the effective utilization of the Storis software systems to improve organizational performance
  • Work to increase quality, productivity, and overall effectiveness of the Storis software
  • Demonstrate a desire to accept other tasks as defined by management
